Tin Can Bay 30.01.2019 - 03.02.2019

Wednesday :
Today we headed off on our next adventure.  We had a meeting in Maryborough, followed by dinner with Mac & Marion.
 Enjoying our milkshakes before dinner.
We  'camped' at my parents house in Bidwill for the night,  before we head to Tin Can Bay Tourist Park for a few days RnR with some  cycling friends.

Thursday :
Beverley and I got our craft on and we put a lovely sticker verse on their caravan wall. It was challenging, but I think it looks great .
After me , 😂😂, giving Dad a hand on the computer,  we had a swim, a yummy lunch, packed up the camper and continued on to Tin Can Bay. We set up, said hello to Greg & Wendy and Yvonne & Gunther and all headed to the pool.
Friday :    We explored Tin Can Bay on our bikes, riding 14kms.

Saturday :
Rode out to Cooloola Cove for coffee and looked around the very small markets. On the way back we rode around tin can bay and got wet in the drizzling rain.
Photo taken by another cyclist in the café.
A relaxing afternoon where I read and Mark swam before we jumped on our bikes again and rode up to the Snack Shack for a mediocre fish and chips dinner .

Sunday :
We packed up and hit the road by 8.30. Rained heavily for a while.  We called in to my parents house again for a cuppa and ended up helping Dad on the computer again and having lunch.
Our son in law , John, happened to be in Howard as we came through. He needed lunch so off to the only food shop open we went. Sarah joined us also.

Canungra 11-17 Jan 2019

Friday: An early morning start to our trip, 4.55am! We had to drop Melissa and the girls to Brisbane airport by 10am. We had a good run and were early even thou we stopped at Caboolture for some sustenance.
Then it was on to Canungra sports ground to camp for 5 nights. Set up camp beside the creek.
Went for a short but hilly ride to town and back.
Then spent the rest of the afternoon just lazing around in the creek.
Saturday morning Rachel, John and Seth took us to O'Reillys winery to see the Alpacas.

Seth stayed the night with us. So more swimming.
Later that night Yvonne and Gunther arrived.
Sunday was Rachels birthday so we had a bbq lunch and swam again.  Silly me didn't take many photos . We had a camp fire late in the afternoon.

Monday we decided to go up to O'Reillys plateau to see the Stinson replica plane and do the tree top walk.

Our view from the café where Gunther kindly shouted coffee and a wrap as we were the chauffeurs.
On the way back we stopped at the Canungra tramway tunnel.
More swimming and marshmallow toasting after dinner.
Tuesday was a busy day exploring.
